Flashback Friday: Steve Carell On 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' (VIDEO)
Steve Carell has been making us laugh since his character, Michael Scott, first graced our presence as branch manager of the ever-reputable paper company, Dunder Mifflin, on NBC’s The Office.
Even while winning laughs on the small screen, the 49-year-old has starred in a variety of films and never straying from his trademark dry, sarcastic sense of humor. Most recently, Carell played a heartbroken sap-turned-Mr.Cool by ladies’ man Ryan Gosling after his wife left him in the 2011 romantic dramedy Crazy, Stupid, Love.
This weekend, Carell reprises a similar role as he sets out again to fight for a lost love in Seeking A Friend For The End of The World. Dodge (Carell) is accompanied by Penny (Keira Knightly) on his undoubtedly turbulent journey to find his high school sweetheart before an asteroid hits earth.
In light of his new movie, our Flashback Friday looks back at Carell’s early days of comedy.
Before he ran the office that we all wanted to quit our jobs to work at, he was a some-time correspondent for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Celebuzz dug up a clip of classic Carell as he goes undercover to conduct an “investigative report” on the toils of being a pizza delivery boy.
