Chris Brown and Drake Brawl Fallout: NBA Star Tony Parker Suing NYC Club for $20 Million
NBA hoopster Tony Parker is suing the SoHo club where Drake and Chris Brown famously brawled last week, saying he sustained injuries that have sidelined his career.
According to the NY Post, 30-year-old Parker – aka Eva Longoria’s ex – wants club W.i.P to pay him a whopping $20 million for his troubles, which he says include lacerations to his cornea, allegedly caused by shards of glass that flew when bottles did.
The basis of Parker’s suit: W.i.P. never should have let Brown and Drake into the club in the first place.
“You’re throwing gasoline on the flames,” Parker’s lawyer, David Jaroslawicz, told the Post of the club giving both Drake and Brown bottle service for the night.
Jaroslawicz even pointed a finger at pop star Rihanna, who has dated both Drake, 25, and Brown, 23, and was allegedly the root of the ruckus.
“She’s been known, like Helen of Troy, to cause trouble,” Jaroslawicz said.
Parker, meanwhile, says he’ll be out of commission for a week as his eye heals with the help of a “therapeutic” contact lens. He’s scheduled to play with the French team at the Summer Olympics, but said, “I’ll be missing the start … because I can’t do anything for a week except keep the lens in and then take drops.”
Jaroslawicz added that while the extent of Parker’s injuries are not yet known, they “certainly don’t improve your outside shot.”
