Snooki, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff: Pregnant Celebrities in Heels (PHOTOS)

Sky-high heels aren't the first thing we usually think of when it comes to maternity attire, but pregnant celebs are known for rocking the look.

While Jessica Simpson was pregnant with her first child, she chose fashion over comfort and didn't want to give up wearing her Jimmy Choos.

Most recently, Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 24, donned wedges while out and about in Seaside Heights, NJ. But the pint-sized reality star, who is six months pregnant, took a tumble on the boardwalk. She laughed off the incident -- but perhaps should retire the fashion-forward footwear before she hurts herself.

Flick through the gallery to see more celebrities who wear sky-high heels while pregnant.

Back in March, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio flaunted her baby bump in a multi-color minidress and did not opt for flats despite her pregnancy.

She paired her yellow and blue dress with sky-high blue heels showing off her long legs.

In late December, prior to giving birth to her son Luca, Hilary Duff refused to give up the heels.

The 23-year-old actress was seen out shopping in Beverly Hills while wearing some fierce, nude Christian Louboutin pumps.

Check out more fashion-forward celebrities like Rachel Zoe, who also opted for heels while pregnant, in the video below.

Everything about this picture is depressing. I'm sorry but Snooki isn't meant to be a mother.

Urgh, fat is just not a good look for her. Who did she have to pay to pro-create with her. Poor guy's dreams are dead.

there are only a few instances where pregnant women can't/shouldn't wear heals and the women you mention in the article all need height where they can get it besides Jessica went to flats at 7 months because of Issues with the pregnancy accept for promotional stops on TV.
