'Magic Mike's' Channing Tatum, Director Steven Soderbergh Tease DVD Extras: Full-Length Strip Routines? (PHOTOS)
Magic Mike earned an impressive, better-than-expected $39.2 million at the box office over the weekend, so it's safe to say Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey's solo strip routines on the big screen did not disappoint.
But some according to the Twitterverse, many female (and some male) moviegoers were left wanting more from Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Adam Rodriguez.
So will fans ever get to see their full striptease routines on the DVD?
Here is what Celebuzz learned from the film's director Steven Soderbergh:
“We have edited together the full-length versions of all the routines and they are pretty disturbing," the director joked.
However, if it's up to Warner Bros. president of worldwide marketing Sue Kroll, it sounds like fans will definitely see the full-length versions.
"We sent them all to Sue Kroll at Warner Bros. and she said, ‘I really like these a lot,’" Soderbergh told reporters. "I think it’s not for men, these things. It made me really uncomfortable to watch them. We did 10 or 12, [and] to watch them all back to back was really disturbing."
His final verdict on if they will make the DVD?
"I don’t know,” the 49-year-old director said.
“I don’t think that people get that they all end the exact same way," Tatum, 31, chimed in. "They all start clothed and end naked. There’s no really cool editing happening to miss the really gory parts."
However Channing recognized the hard work all the guys put in to their roles.
"I wish we had time in the movie to show everyone’s solo dance," he told Celebuzz at the press conference. For more of Tatum's interview, read on here.>>
