Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Wedding: ‘Keep it Small and Simple,’ Says Planner
Hollywood party planner Mindy Weiss, whose has worked for clients such as Katy Perry, Heidi Klum, Fergie and Josh Duhamel along with Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi, told Celebuzz the young couple should "keep it small, keep it simple and keep it timeless."
But Weiss, who recently coordinated Giuliana and Bill Rancic's baby shower, said the couple shouldn't rush to say 'I Do.'
"I would suggest she wait three or four years before she gets married. Stay engaged for a while, because her taste will change. I would hope if they got married now, that someone would advise them to keep it small, keep it simple, keep it timeless, no matter what age she is."You want to be able to look back 10 years from now and not go, 'What the hell was I thinking?'," the planner to Tinsel town biggest star's added.
If 19-year-old Cyrus does rush down the aisle, Weiss said she hoped the singer followed the lead of "Girlfriend" singer Avril Lavigne, who married Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley in 2006 when she was just 21.
Avril Lavigne had such sophisticated taste for a 21-year-old," she said.
Though they had a fairytale wedding, Lavigne and Whibley didn't get their fairytale ending: the pair divorced in 2010.
