Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Divorce: Connor Cruise Tweets 'Family Is Forever'

Connor Cruise, the adopted son of Tom Cruise and his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, has spoken out for the first time about his dad's divorce from Katie Holmes ... sort of.

The 17-year-old DJ, who was in Iceland with the Rock of Ages star when the news broke on Friday, took to Twitter Monday afternoon to retweet the following meaningful message:

"#LaFamilia Always. Friends Come And Go, But Family Is Forever."

Sounds like this tweet could be a declaration of support for his dad, whom he chose to stay with after his split from Kidman in 2001.

Holmes announced her decision to divorce the actor, 49, on Friday. A rep for Cruise said he was "deeply saddened" by the announcement.

Yesterday, Cruise’s attorney Bert Fields said of the divorce: "I would hope that it’s not a contentious matter. I know Tom is not a particularly contentious person."
