Rihanna's Father Approves of Reconciliation Between His Daughter and Chris Brown
Quite unexpectedly, Rihanna's father has given the "We Found Love" singer his blessing to reunite with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
In a recent interview with Britain's Grazia magazine, Ronald Fenty explains that he believes Brown, 23, has "matured" since his 2009 assault, and that he and Rihanna, 24, make a "perfect couple."
"Chris has matured a lot," he told the publication. "I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her."
His kind words for Brown didn't stop there.
"Everyone is entitled to make a mistake," he told Grazia. "Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple," Fenty said.
Rihanna and Brown seemed to put their turbulent relationship behind them after collaborating on two songs together, fueling reunion rumors.
Brown is presently dating model Karrueche Tran, and Rihanna has been linked to several different Hollywood men, including Drake and Ashton Kutcher.
Late last week, Brown offered his condolences to Rihanna and her family after her beloved Gran Gran Dolly passed away.
"Praying for family and the lost loved one," he wrote on his Twitter account. "She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP."
