Tina Fey Raps In 'Community' Star Donald Glover's 'Royalty' Mixtape (AUDIO)
Tina Fey will soon wrap her final season of 30 Rock, but in the meantime, she's actually rapping.
Community star Donald Glover, who sometimes goes under the alias Childish Gambino, dropped a mixtape on the Fourth of July titled Royalty, and it features the musical stylings of funny lady Fey, along with notable rappers The Wu-Tang Clan's The RZA, Bun B, Danny Brown and Schoolboy-Q.
The actress/writer accompanies talented musicians Alley Boy and Swank as she lends her rapping skills to the track "Real Estate."
Fey doesn't just drop lines here and there-- she spits out a full verse:
"My president is black and my prius is blue, motherf--r/Royalty all day we droppin' racks at Nordstrom, son."
Fey gave Glover, 28, his first big break in television when she hired him on as a 30 Rock writer at age 23. At the time, he was still living in New York University housing.
Glover even had a guest spot on 30 Rock's live show this past April when he played Tracy Jordan's (Tracy Morgan) younger self.
This isn't Fey's breakthrough rap debut either. As Liz Lemon, the actress raps under the pseudonym Lemonem on an episode of 30 Rock.
What do you think of Fey's rap skills? Should she stick to her day job in television, or is there a future for her in music?
