‘Amazing Spider-Man’ Star Emma Stone In ‘Vogue UK’, Talks Fame, Fashion and Andrew Garfield
After fronting U.S. Vogue’s July cover and modeling with boyfriend and Amazing Spider-Man costar Andrew Garfield for the August issue of Teen Vogue, the lovable funny lady has landed on the August cover of Vogue U.K.
Sporting strawberry-blonde tresses and thickly lined eyes, Revlon ambassador, 23, ravishes in a MaxMara houndstooth sweater and newsboy cap.
Find out what Stone said about life in the limelight, her on-screen-turned-real-life love and her new-found fashion sense.
On her rising star status:
“I worry about my fame making New York unlivable. That would be … to not walk around would be awful. I don’t think that that would ever actually happen. Like, that is will ever be to the point where I can’t go anywhere. But that idea makes me physically ill.”
On costar-beau Andrew Garfield:
“[I] was surprised to hear [Garfield’s] completely British accent, because on set, obviously, we were speaking in American accents, so in between takes he was pretty American. I had such a great time at the audition with him, and felt like I trusted him and respected him and liked him as an actor.”
“It’s something that I’ve been more exposed to in the past year, so I finally have a deeper understanding and appreciation for it.”
On coping with continual anxiety:
“I’ve been following Titanic Real Time on Twitter. They’re sinking in three days. I like all disasters. It’s oddly soothing.”
