On Saturday, the Maleficent actress showed off her huge dazzler from fiance Brad Pitt at the Sarajevo Film Festival in Bosnia.
This was the 37-year-old’s first public event since the engagement announcement in April, and she was grinning from ear to ear as the 4 carat rock sparkled for the cameras.
However, her impressive ring wasn’t the only thing that was making headlines.
Jolie also received the Honorary Citizen of Sarajevo award from the Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton, Fikret Musić, for her contributions to the country.
Earlier this year, Jolie made her first directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey, which centers around love story set against the background of the Bosnian War.
“The time I spent and the people I met in Bosnia have changed me forever,” she said. “I can’t tell you how much it means to me to be named an honorary citizen of Sarajevo, a city so dear to my heart.”
Jolie and Pitt have yet to announce their wedding date, though many speculate that the couple’s six children – Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and twins Vivienneand Knox, 3 — will be heavily involved in the ceremony.
