Jason Sudeikis May Exit 'Saturday Night Live'
Jason Sudeikis may be signing off from NBC's Saturday Night Live.
In the latest issue of Men's Journal, the funnyman hints that he might leave the venerable show after seven years.
“I’ve left places before," he says. "This is very, very different.” The 36-year-old adds: "Goodbyes are tough."
Why has speculation that Sudeikis will exit the iconic sketch show been building?
His cohorts, Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg, recently decided to leave SNL, and Sudeikis' contract has expired.
The 36-year-old even expressed some ambivalence about the show, calling it both "an amazing job and a horrible job."
Sudeikis surely won't be down and out without his SNL gig: his movie career is red-hot.
Last year, he appeared in Horrible Bosses, which raked in $200 million at the box office. He'll next star in Will Ferrell's The Campaign, hitting theaters in August.
Also on his plate: We're the Millers with Jennifer Aniston and Relanxious, about an agoraphobic man who meets a woman with anxiety disorder. In the latter, he'll costar with his real-life girlfriend, Olivia Wilde.
