Legendary Filmmaker David Lynch to Have a Baby Daughter (EXCLUSIVE)
The man behind critically acclaimed Hollywood films Mulholland Drive and The Elephant Man is about to become the father -- again -- at age 66.
David Lynch, a four-time Academy Award nominated filmmaker and his wife of three years, Emily Stofle, are expecting a little girl, Celebuzz has learned.
The couple was spotted at Los Angeles hot spot Chateau Marmont over the weekend, with actress Stofle looking heavily pregnant as she was photographed leaving the hotel.
Just last month the pair had a baby shower for their new upcoming addition -- and Celebuzz knows what was on their wish list.
Registering at the exclusive Bel Bambini children’s store in West Hollywood, Calif., the Lynchs asked for an array of gifts for a baby girl.
From pink booties and playsuits, to an organic car seat and even a ride on rocking cow, the little Lynch won’t be left wanting.
Lynch, whose credits also include the groundbreaking television show Twin Peaks and Inland Empire -- where he met his wife on set -- is an old hand when it comes to being a father.
In 2006, he filed for divorce from his producer wife Mary Sweeney after just one month of marriage.
This will be Stofle’s first child.
Does age matter when it comes to being a parent -- how old is too old? Sound off below.
