“Katie was really smart about how she did this,” a source tells Us magazine. “Tom will be allowed to see Suri, but there are guidelines for the visits.”
Another insider, meanwhile, claims that Holmes had to agree to several stipulations to get her way.
“There are a lot [of provisions] there,” said the source. “From what I heard it was complicated, and one of the provisions is confidentiality.”
Cruise, 50, and Holmes, 33, reached a swift divorce settlement yesterday, less than two weeks after Holmes filed to end their marriage.
After the announcement, and the media storm that followed, Cruise’s rep said the actor was “deeply saddened” by the development.
However, he isn’t exactly wallowing. In fact, Cruise is already back to work.
The three-time Oscar nominee landed in Mammoth, Calif., Monday to continue work on his latest movie, Oblivion. He’d been filming the sci-fi thriller in Iceland when Holmes filed for divorce.
