Kristen Chenoweth Hospitalized Following Accident on ‘Good Wife’ Set

Kristin Chenoweth was knocked unconscious and rushed to the hospital following accident while filming an episode of CBS’ The Good Wife.

According to TMZ, the 43-year-old actress was injured on the show’s Brooklyn set when she was struck by a piece of fallen lighting equipment. A witness to the incident said Chenewoth was “hit square in the head” and appeared to be “knocked out cold.” The actress’ rep says she was struck by a falling piece of scaffolding.

“I thought she was dead at first,” said the onlooker.

Additional reports indicate the multi-talented actress may have also have suffered a seizure.

A source told the New York Post she suffered the seizure after the accident at around 5 p.m. ET. Photos taken on the scene show Chenoweth being attended to while lying on a stretcher while clutching the hand of a woman by her side.  Paramedics transported the GCB star to New York City’s Bellevue Hospital by ambulance where she is currently listed in stable condition.
