Boy band to the rescue!

The Wanted recently rushed to the aid of a sick fan as they left a gig in Scotland, and a rep for the band tells Celebuzz, "Yes, the story is 100% true."

Following their T In The Park performance over the weekend, the British boy band — consisting of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes — bused over to Glasgow Airport. Upon spotting the hit-making heartthrobs on their tour bus, a group of fans grew into a frenzy.

But one starstruck girl's thrill spelled troubled. She was so overcome with excitement that she fainted, hit her head on the ground and began seizing.

When the singers spotted the girl in danger, they leaped into action.

Rushing from the bus to the rescue of the ailing fan, Sykes put her in recovery position as Parker phoned for an ambulance.

"It was pretty frightening," Parker told the UK Sun, "but anyone would have done the same."

And Skyes has been tracking the girl's recovery via Twitter, asking followings to message him with updates. He later tweeted, "Thanks the for updates guys, glad she is ok :)."

What do you think of the boy bander's superhero act? State your case in comments.
