Celebrity Baby Names 2012

The big celebrity news this week has everyone talking about baby names.

Kourtney Kardshian gave birth to her baby girl on Sunday, naming her Penelope. The following day, Sienna Miller welcomed her daughter Marlowe.

Both are distinct monikers, but they're also a bit old fashioned. Classic names are among the current fad for modern parents, and celebrity babies definitely lead the trend.

What other celebs are in vogue with their name choice?

Jack Osbourne went totally old school when he named his first born child Pearl Clementine.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and her husband Peter Sarsgaard also followed current convention, naming their daughter Gloria Ray.

Yet other celebs went for a more unique angle, such as Alessandra Ambrosio, who named her son Noah Phoenix.

Generally I do not read article on blogs, however I would like to say that this write-up very pressured me to try and do so! Your writing style has been amazed me. Thank you, quite great article.

names can easily be changed when the child reaches 18 and neither of those names are exactly outlandish If one of them had named their daughter Joanne or Natalie/Natasha nobody would've said anything because there are beloved actresses by those names as in Joanne Woodward Natalie Wood & Natasha Richardson Ms Wood is the youngest person ever to be nominated for three oscars at age 25 in 1964 Woodward won an oscar in 1958 best actress and Richardson won a Tony in 1998 for her role as Sally Bowles in the revival of Cabaret. both Wood & Richardson died tragically young leaving behind young children woods children were 11 & 7 when she passed November 29th 1981 aged 43 & Richardsons were 13 & 12 when she passed March 18th 2009 aged 45
