Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Tell Court They Were ‘Forced to Defend Themselves’ Against Paparazzo (EXCLUSIVE DOCUMENTS)
Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox are on the defensive after a paparazzo filed a lawsuit claiming that Green beat him for taking pictures of the couple on a Hawaiian beach.
Now Celebuzz can offer details of the suit -- and exclusively reveal the couple's first response to it.
In the suit, Delbert Shaw maintains that the couple hurled verbal threats as he photographed them in front of the Four Seasons Resort in Hualalai, Hawaii. The December 2010 confrontation quickly escalated, claims Shaw, with Fox yelling to her hubby, “Are you going to let him get away with that?”
That’s when Green knocked Shaw to the ground, hitting him and causing severe injures, the suit alleges. To add insult to injury, Shaw claims the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star snatched his iPhone and tossed it into the ocean.
In the couple’s court documents, Green and Fox “categorically deny” Shaw’s allegations and lay out their version of the December 18, 2010, incident. The actors insist that they “were forced to defend themselves from Plaintiff.” They also note that Show is "notoriously reputed" to be "a hyper aggressive and physically combative paparazzo” who “has a long history of altercations with his subjects and even his fellow paparazzi.”
As for Shaw’s allegations about his cell phone, the documents claim Fox did not conspire with Green to steal Shaw's iPhone.
All in all, the A-listers claim Shaw's allegations "are without merit and are premised on a tissue of misrepresentations and half-truths."
