Sylvester Stallone‘s son Sage has died.

The 36-year-old actor, who debuted alongside his father in the 1990 movie Rocky 5, was found in his Los Angeles apartment on Friday, reported TMZ.

Sage was discovered by either a maid or his girlfriend who called 911, but when paramedics arrived, he was pronounced dead.

Sylvester, 66, is said to be “devastated and grief-stricken” over the passing of his son.

His rep, Michelle Bega, tells TMZ, “Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever.”

The young Stallone also appeared in the films The Evil Inside Me and his father’s film Daylight — which he also directed.

He was recently featured in the 2010 Vincent Gallo film Promises Written in Water.

Sage is Sylvester’s son with his first wife, Sasha Ash.
