In one week, Bachelorette Emily Maynard will pick her man -- but the odds have having a successful relationship are stacked against her.

After 10 years of ABC matchmaking and seven seasons of The Bachelorette, only two out of 7 “official” couples are still together: Trista and Ryan Sutter (Bachelorette Season 1) and Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum (Bachelorette Season 7.)

Hebert and Rosenbaum knew the odds were against them when it came to finding love on reality TV, but the Season 7 lovebirds have proven --so far -- that nothing can tear them apart.

The engaged couple, who recently moved into a new home together in New Jersey, are taking their relationship slow and aren't quite ready to tie the knot.

"After the TV proposal, everyone expects you to walk down the aisle," Rosenbaum told Celebuzz in June. "We haven't even started planning a wedding yet. We're enjoying our time together, and it's great."

Do they have a secret to beating the reality TV curse?

"Relationships statistically don't work out. The odds are against you from the start," Rosenbaum says. "The Bachelor world is no different than the real world. We just happened to fall in love, and it happened to work out. There is no secret formula. We just clicked and fell in love."

The Bachelor's success rate is almost laughable -- after 16 seasons, only Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson (Bachelor Season 16) are still together. Only time will tell if they'll actually make it down the aisle.

Jason and Molly Mesnick are also still together -- even though he had originally chosen and proposed to Melissa Rycroft over Mesnick on The Bachelor 13 final.

With Maynard set to pick her guy next week, Rosenbaum has a few words of advice for her and her possible groom.

Says the former contestant: "You have to make sacrifices."

Who do you think Emily will pick on The Bachelorette: Jef or Arie?  Tell us your predictions, in the comments, below.

Trista definitely hit the jackpot with her marriage to Ryan Sutter. I have envied her ever since Ryan stepped out of the limo to meet her. He is an amazing guy and certainly the best-looking guy they have ever had on that show. The first Bachelorette.....and still the best overall.

I would worry about Jef since his parents were not there at the hometown, the 3 things that break people up are sex, money and religion, and being a Morman seems very important to his family, plus the fact that his oldest brother, the one who Jef said she had to get through said he never knew he wanted to be a father and I believe he said something like he couldn't see him taking on that role now, plus the fact that he broke up with a girl his parents did not approve of, probably because she was not Morman. His family did say he was a free spirit, and maybe since he is the baby they indulge this, but I bet as he ages it will become important to him. I have a Morman couple friend and the one that was not Morman had to convert from Catholic to Morman, they have 6 children and the Catholic came from 13 children and there has been serious problems since he is from South Louisiana and that region is predominately Catholic, it is like the "little Vatican" and in the deep South we do not have many Mormans, I knew them in La. and then we all lived in florida which is not the south anymore, and there is stilll not many mormans. I don't know why Emily has not asked him about his religion since I would guess she knows very little about the morman church, and is probably a southern Baptist Christian from her moral view, I think that being from the deep south points to a conservative Christian background and Mormans are not Christian, and are very strict in the things you must do after marriage, like your husband determines the # of children you have since that elevates his status in Morman afterlife and he gives his wife a secret name to whisper into God's ear and they must wear protective underwear that protects them from fire, lightning, etc. and you must be married in the temple in Utah which is why she also would need to move there since it is required no matter where you live to be married there and Ricki will need to be brought up as a Morman so she will be included with her other siblings, it is a deal breaker just like devout jews, muslims, hindus, and Catholics require this. So, I hope she picks Arie who is more mature and easy going, but I think it is going to be Jef She is giddy around him and I think she thinks his family is conservative like hers, but I see a difference she does not and I have nothing against mormans or any other religions
