Those of us who attended MTV’s Teen Wolf panel at San Diego Comic-Con already got a first look at its raunchy new teen comedy, The Inbetweeners. But now, the network has released the trailer wide for everyone to see.

Proud of its scripted achievements so far with Teen Wolf and Awkward, MTV ventures into its new original series about teenagers figuring out just how much they don’t know about life, love and sex.

What else goes down on MTV’s new scripted comedy?

Based on the British series of the same name and adapted by executive producer Brad Copeland (My Name Is Earl, Arrested Development), the series features a group of high schoolers who find themselves between the cool kids and the outcasts – which is where most of us live, right?

The show stars Joey Pollari as Will McKenzie, Bubba Lewis as Simon Cooper, Zack Pearlman as Jay Cartwright, Mark L. Young as Neil Sutherland and Alex Frnka as Carly D’Amato.

In the trailer below, expect scenes depicting unrequited love, plenty of awkwardness and toilet humor — literally!

The Inbetweeners premieres Monday, August 20, at 10 PM on MTV.
