Michael Jackson Estate: Randy, Jermaine Jackson Using Mom Katherine to Get Michael's Money, Sources Claim
And the plot thickens: Sources close to the Michael Jackson estate allege that Michael's brothers, Randy and Jermaine, are using their mom, Katherine, to get their hands on Michael's money.
According to a report on TMZ, Randy and Jermaine are trying to make it appear that Katherine is ill, and would thus need a conservatorship. Randy and Jermaine would then take over as Katherine's conservators, which would give them roughly $70,000 a month.
Randy and Jermaine have yet to comment on the accusations.
The news comes after Celebuzz exclusively reported that Michael’s sisters Janet, Rebbie and brothers Tito, Randy and Jermaine Jackson sent a scathing letter to the executors of Michael's estate, John Branca and John McClain, asking for their immediate resignation.
Their accusation: Branca and McClain faked Michael's final Will and Testament prior to his death on June 25, 2009.
“At the time we couldn’t possibly fathom what is so obvious to us now: that the Will, without question, it’s Fake, Flawed and Fraudulent,” the letter sates.
The letter also alleged that Katherine, 82, had a "mini-stroke" as a result of the estate's mishandling, a report that was loosely denied by Michael's daughter, Paris, on her Twitter.
"I am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor and nothing has happened, she is completely fine," she tweeted Wednesday.
Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 of cardiac arrest after an overdose of prescription drugs administered to him by his personal physician, Conrad Murray. He was 50.
In 2011, Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, and sentenced to four years in prison.
