Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Taylor Armstrong: I Would Love to Do All-Star Season
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong says she’s on board if Bravo ever launches an all-star edition of its hit franchise.
“Love it — that’s such a great idea,” she said on Thursday, July 19 at the Teen Choice Awards’ KISS FM gift lounge. The event was held at the W Hotel in Westwood, Calif.
So who would be included in the 38-year-old’s dream cast?
“It would be my [Beverly Hills] girls!” she said. “I also adore NeNe [Leakes of Atlanta], and I’m friendly with Gretchen [Rossi of Orange County]. I like Caroline Manzo [of New Jersey]. There are a lot of great ones out there.”
Those certainly include all the women from the franchise’s OC edition, which Armstrong has been following faithfully.
“I enjoyed [The Real Housewives] of OC, and I really enjoyed the reunion, that’s for sure,” she said. “We all see each other at events; I care about how they are doing.”
As RHOBH fans know all too well, tragedy struck Armstrong when her ex-husband Russell Armstrong committed suicide in August 2011. The show depicted Armstrong – who has a daughter, five-year-old Kennedy, with Russell — in what appeared to be an abusive marriage. Today, she’s trying to use her pain to help others: She serves as the national spokesperson for National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
In fact, Armstrong told us that she’ll be speaking in support of the coalition this Sunday in Denver.
She’ll enjoy some much-needed levity after that.
“I’m going to take a little vacation with Kennedy before school starts for her,” said Armstrong. “I love summer because she gets to play and have fun, and I get to play and have fun with her.”
