Teen Choice Awards 2012: Justin Bieber Is All Smiles, Wishes Girlfriend Selena Gomez a Happy Birthday

Justin Bieber is one heck of boyfriend -- and a busybody.

Though he was just recently in Australia for his Believe World Tour, Bieber, 18, flew back to Los Angeles to celebrate his girlfriend Selena Gomez's 20th birthday at this year's Teen Choice Awards 2012, where he was also scheduled to perform onstage.

Earlier in the day, the Biebs encouraged fans to send love to his gal, writing on Twitter:

happy birthday @selenagomez!!! everyone show love!!

Bieber was also up for a few awards Sunday night -- nabbing a total of nine nominations including Choice Twit.
