Kate Middleton Plays Ping Pong, Joins Princes William and Harry on the Soccer Field (PHOTOS)

The royals are getting into the Olympic spirit.

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton joined husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry for the launch of Coach Core — a new sports project aimed at impoverished youths — at Bacon’s College in London on Thursday.

Sporting a Hobbs’ “Wessex” dress and Pied-a-Terre wedges, Middleton, 30, looked sporty yet chic as she joined in the school’s sports games just one day before the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics.

What did the royals do when they hit the field? Avid rugby and polo players William, 30, and Harry, 27, spent time on the soccer field before hitting the basketball court with a few students.

Meanwhile, Middleton — even in her wedges — challenged players to a friendly match of ping pong and managed to score a few points. Launch the gallery to see the royals indulging in a little bit of sports.

Middleton and company are slated to attend a combined 25 Olympic events throughout the games. They will be in attendance for tennis, sailing, field hockey, equestrian events, and beach volleyball, among other events.
