‘All the Right Moves’ Star Travis Wall Promises Real Life on His New Show: ‘We Might Come Up Short’
“After [competing on] So You Think You Can Dance, I was accepted,” Wall tells Celebuzz. “I ran with that. You now what I mean? And I kept my face out there.”
Wall has plenty to show for his tenacity. Aside from his flourishing career and strong fan following, he was nominated for an Emmy last year for his work on the FOX show’s seventh season.
What can we expect from All the Right moves?
On his new series, the 24-year-old wants to take it to the next level: Shaping Sound, a dance company co-founded with longtime buddies, So You Think You Can Dance Season 1 winner Nick Lazzarini and dancer-choreographer Teddy Forance.
Two years in the making and spanning five months over its eight episodes, the series follows the guys as they move in together and quickly get to work hiring dancers, ironing out their working relationships and raising capital.
“The money was really the hardest part,” he explains of the challenges. “Because you have so many dreams and you want to do so many things that it’s hard to find money to do it. And we ended up putting a substantial amount of money of our own into it and the other part was just having power control within the three of us. Our egos were definitely tested in the process.”
Watch a preview below from the premiere episode as Wall and his newly formed dance company try to impress potential investors with their first performance.
All the Right Moves premieres Tuesday at 11PM on Oxygen.
