Bret Michaels' 'Rock of Love' Season 4 'Never Going to Happen,' Says Source (EXCLUSIVE)
Bret Michaels and longtime girlfriend Kristi Gibson called off their engagement on Monday, leaving many Rock of Love fans speculating on the Internet as to whether the Poison rocker would return to VH1 to find love again.
The "Every Rose Has Its Thorns" singer, 49, starred on three seasons of the reality television dating competition series Rock of Love and Rock of Love Bus. However, sources close to the network tell Celebuzz a fourth season "is never going to happen."
Another source close to Michaels says he won't return to the hit reality TV show and instead wants to focus on his music and tour.
But what does Michaels have to say about it?
When asked about a fourth season of Rock of Love in 2009, he said, "Now they want me to come back for a fourth 'Rock of Love.' I feel that it should be something that changes up, but I still want that fun element. What you see is what you get with me."
In 2010, Michaels asked his on-off girlfriend of 18 years, Gibson, to marry him on the finale of his VH1 reality show, Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It. The couple, have two daughters, Raine Elizabeth and Jorja Bleu, announced their breakup on July 30.
The reason for the split?
An insider tells Celebuzz: “With a multitude of projects in the works and an ongoing summer tour, conflicting schedules could have played a role."
