Katy Perry Debuts New Short Hairdo at Brazil Premiere of 'Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D' (PHOTOS)

Singer Katy Perry debuted another new hairdo on Monday while attending the premiere of her summer documentary, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3-D, in Rio de Janiero, Brazil.

The 27-year-old singer, who has experimented with her image quite often over the last 12 months, decided to go for more of a natural look this time around, donning a sleek black bob that bounced beautifully off of her cap-sleeved, cut-out yellow dress.

She even opted for a graceful "less is more" look in the makeup department, instead of caking on a full-stage face.

Since her music career launched in 2008, Perry -- who picked up for MTV VMA nominations on Tuesday -- has become known for her often eccentric red-carpet looks, especially when it comes to her hair. In the past, she's experienced with colors pink, blonde, blue and beyond.

Most recently, the singer had purple dip-dyed tresses.

Perry, who split from her husband of 14 months, Russell Brand, in December, seems to be entering a new phase in her life now that the ink on her divorce has dried.

Not only has she been linked to Robert Ackroyd and, most recently, John Mayer, she now appears to be going for a look that is quite reminiscent of her original pop image.
