Robert Pattinson Has Not Canceled 'Cosmopolis' Appearance, Says Rep
It is business as usual for a heartbroken Robert Pattinson, who has vowed to face the media and public despite the recent revelation that his longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him with married director, Rupert Sanders.
Despite reports on Tuesday that Pattinson, 26, had pulled out of a publicty appearance for new movie Cosmopolitis, the English actor's rep confirmed to Celebuzz that the Twilight star has no plans to back out of his commitments.
Pattinson has remained tight lipped over the news that Stewart, 22, had a brief affair with the 41-year-old director of Snow White and the Huntsman.
“Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,” Pattinson’s rep tells Celebuzz.
“No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate."
Since news of the scandal broke last week, Pattinson has not been seen in public. However, with his film -- directed by David Cronenberg -- scheduled for release in August, the popular actor could face a public questioning over his failed relationship.
A report by Entertainment Tonight sparked the rumors that Pattinson would be pulling out of all his public appearances.
Stewart has since issued a public apology to her longtime boyfriend -- and her fans -- after her indiscretions were revealed on July 25.
