It is business as usual for a heartbroken Robert Pattinson, who has vowed to face the media and public despite the recent revelation that his longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him with married director, Rupert Sanders.

Despite reports on Tuesday that Pattinson, 26, had pulled out of a publicty appearance for new movie Cosmopolitis, the English actor's rep confirmed to Celebuzz that the Twilight star has no plans to back out of his commitments.

Pattinson has remained tight lipped over the news that Stewart, 22, had a brief affair with the 41-year-old director of Snow White and the Huntsman.

Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,” Pattinson’s rep tells Celebuzz.

“No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate."

Since news of the scandal broke last week, Pattinson has not been seen in public. However, with his film -- directed by David Cronenberg -- scheduled for release in August, the popular actor could face a public questioning over his failed relationship.

report by Entertainment Tonight sparked the rumors that Pattinson would be pulling out of all his public appearances.

Stewart has since issued a public apology to her longtime boyfriend -- and her fans -- after her indiscretions were revealed on July 25.

She said: “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.

“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob.

“I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

Both actors are scheduled to appear as co-presenters at the MTV's Video Music Awards on Sept. 9 and will continue to promote the final Twilight film - out Nov. 16.

Folks, I just know he will be present at the NY premiere, this film so special to him. But hey it will be hard for him because we fans will always be full support, but the press and people will fall heartless killing about it treason. Rob Force, show how you are superior and please be valued and cut relations with kristen .... man she does not deserve you, kitted ugly and unforgiving.

Rob should move on and let kristen be part of his past. Betrayal is the worst in a relationship ... confidence once lost, will never be the same. Not to mention the humiliation and shame that he is going. Folks, if he comes back will be a demoralization. Cosmopolis is a film he is very proud and rightly so, he is wonderful and now not going to premier the wrongdoing of others is disgusting. Rob're on his side
