'Taken 2': Liam Neeson Fights Revengeful Foes in New Trailer (VIDEO)
High-speed car chases, mind-blowing blasts, good-guy-bad-guy showdowns — it all goes down in the Taken 2 trailer.
In the sequel to 2009's action-packed Taken, Liam Neeson reprises his role of Bryan Mills, a butt-kicking retired CIA operative.
What does the former government agent tackle this time around?
After saving his teenage daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace) from sex slavery in the first film, Mills and his family arrive in Istanbul. But the trip quickly turns life-threatening when his wife (Famke Janssen) is targeted and taken hostage by the father of the kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter in Paris.
And 20th Century Fox's Taken 2 is set to a deliver just as much heart-racing action as its predecessor.
Mills must revert to his old lethal skill set to rescue his wife from his vengeful adversaries. While she manages to evade the kidnappers, Kim ends up in the firing line when Mills enlists her help to save her mother.
Directed by Olivier Megaton from Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen's co-written script, Taken 2 opens October 5.
