Cuba Gooding Jr. Turns Himself In After Alleged Attack On Barmaid
Cuba Gooding Jr. has turned himself into cops after his alleged altercation with a female bartender in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Celebuzz has confirmed.
An arrest warrant was issued for the Oscar-winning actor after he was accused of shoving a barmaid in New Orleans.
But the Jerry Maguire star met with police on Wednesday and will now plead his case on Friday in court.
So what went down at the station?
"This morning Cuba met with police officials," Officer Frank B. Robertson, lll of the NOLA Police Department told Celebuzz exclusively.
"He received a summons to appear in court on Friday at 8.30am at Orleans Parish Municipal Court. At that time, he'll put in his plea."
Cuba's rep has issued a statement confirming the actor has taken steps to resolve the situation.
"There is no warrant. Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding," a spokesman told TMZ.
