Jennifer Lawrence Channels Her Inner Scream Queen in New ‘House at the End of the Street’ Trailer (VIDEO)
In the movie’s new trailer released Thursday, the 21-year-old tackles (quite literally) a spooky new role and takes on her character’s murderous neighbor.
Also starring fellow Academy Award nominee Elisabeth Shue and My Soul to Take’s Max Thieriot, the film centers around a mother and daughter duo (Shue and Lawrence) who moves next door to a house where a young girl brutally murdered her parents.
When the daughter befriends the surviving son (Thieriot), she learns that she might be the child’s next victim.
However, this freshly-released trailer also shows a side of Lawrence fans hardly get to see.
In the new clip, Lawrence also shows off her singing abilities as she strums on a guitar.

This year has certainly been busy for the Oscar-nominated actress.
Aside from The House at the End of the Street, Lawrence also has two other movies that will be released by the end of 2012: The Silver Linings Playbook and Devil You Know.
Lawrence also starred in a movie adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games in March, and is currently training for the film’s sequel, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
