Actress Lynn Cohen has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire as Mags, Lionsgate confirmed Thursday.

Fans of the popular Suzanne Collins trilogy will remember 80-year-old Mags as the former mentor of Finnick Odiar and Hunger Games victor from District 4.

TV fans may also remember Cohen from her memorable role as Magda, Miranda’s maid, on the Emmy-winning HBO comedy Sex and the City.

A legendary theater actress, Cohen most recently had roles in the Oscar-nominated film Munich, in 2005, and Synecdoche, NY, in 2008. She will next co-star in They Came Together opposite Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler.

Cohen joins an already A-list cast that includes Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, Sam Clafin as Finnick, and Amanda Plummer as Wiress.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth will also be reprising their roles in the much-anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games, which hits theaters on Nov. 23, 2013.

In July, it was announced that Mockingjay, the third and final chapter in the Hunger Games trilogy, will be split into two movies with release dates set for Nov. 21, 2014 and Nov. 20, 2015, respectively.
