Kate Beckinsale hasn't been seduced by 50 Shades of Grey.

As Hollywood buzzes about possible casting for the big-screen version of E.L. James' hit book, the Total Recall beauty told us that she has no opinion on who should play Christian Grey -- or any other Fifty Shades character, for that matter.

The reason?

"I haven't [read the book], so I can't possibly say," the 39-year-old told Celebuzz at Wednesday night's Total Recall premiere in Hollywood, Calif.  "The whole idea of that sounds very exhausting to me."

Promoting her role as Lori Quaid, wife of Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) in the remake of the original 1990 sci-fi flick, Beckinsale looked flawless at the event, donning a fitted gown with her hair neatly pinned back.

The film was directed by Beckinsale's hubby, Len Wiseman, who also directed the actress' Underworld series.

What do you think of Kate's decision to steer clear of 50 Shades of Grey? Sound off in the comments.
