Brad Pitt is always up for a challenge when it comes to taking on new movie roles.
The actor, who had his first roles in 1987 and appeared in shows like Dallas, Growing Pains and 21 Jump Street, has gone on to become one of the highest paid actors in the world.
His first leading role was in the movie The Dark Side of the Sun in 1988, which wasn’t released until almost 10 years later. His breakthrough came when he appeared in Thelma and Louise in 1991.
Since, he has transformed himself for all of his film roles inlcuding Fight Club, Seven, 12 Monkeys, Burn After Reading and Mr. & Mrs. Smith -- just to name a few.

Up next, the actor is saddling up for Ridley Scott’s new movie The Counselor. Sporting long hair and decked out in full cowboy attire, he was recently photographed on the film’s set in London.
In the movie – which is based on a screenplay by novelist Cormac McCarthy – Pitt plays a shady drug trafficker called Westray who gets Michael Fassbender's character involved in the illegal trade. The flick will also feature Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Cameron Diaz.
In other Pitt movie news, the first official trailer for Killing Them Softly, the new crime thriller starring Pitt, debuted.
In the clip, the 48-year-old actor stars as Jackie Cogan, a professional who investigates a heist that occurs during a high stakes, mob-protected poker game. The flick is set to enter theaters on October 19.
