One Direction's Liam Payne, Niall Horan Surprise Fans With Impromptu Gig in London (VIDEO)

1D SURPRISE!

Though average One Direction tickets fetch around $250, it seems the boy band's fans would pay just about anything to see their idols perform live. So imagine the surprise when Niall Horan and Liam Payne decided to perform a free impromptu gig in the middle of London's Westfield shopping center.

With the duo's other bandmates absent, Irish cutie Horan played guitar and sang along with Payne for their adoring fans. Horan was wearing his trademark Ray-Bans sunglasses and a baseball cap backwards, paired with a plain white t-shirt and dark jogging bottoms. Payne took care of the vocals, as he sang all five parts of their smash hit, What Makes You Beautiful.

Up next, One Direction are expected to rock the stage at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony on August 12, according to Metro UK.

The British-Irish pop stars will join an already star-studded lineup of Take That, The Who, Queen and the Spice Girls at the closing ceremony.

The boy band is expected to be joined by their songwriting pal Ed Sheeran, who penned “Moments” off their debut album and is working on new tunes for their next record.
