'Hunger Games' Star Josh Hutcherson Bleaches Hair for 'Catching Fire' Shoot (PHOTOS)
Peeta Mellark is back.
Josh Hutcherson has returned to his Hunger Games character's signature blond hair in preparation for the filming of the franchise' highly anticipated sequel.
The naturally brown-haired Hutcherson, 19, stepped out sporting much lighter golden locks this Saturday. Catching a movie with a gal pal at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood, the young actor looked to be taking advantage of his free time -- riding off on his motorcycle -- before the start of production.
Where will the the filming take place?
Sources close to the production told us various locations in Georgia were looked at for “Victor’s Village” in District 12 — the affluent neighborhood where winners of the Hunger Games live.
Hutcherson's costar Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the flicks, has also spilled about the upcoming movie.
“The new movie will be very real, which is what I’m excited about,” she told the LA Times.
“I really like [director Francis Lawrence's] take, which is a lot of what I liked in Gary Ross,” she added. “It’s the realistic grasp of the story instead of all the details of the imaginary things.”
Most of the castings for Catching Fire have already been completed too. Sam Claflin, Jenna Malone and Amanda Plummer will be joining the cast as the Hunger Games tributes, while Philip Seymour Hoffman will star as new Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee.
Hutcherson, Lawrence, and Liam Hemsworth will return and round out the lineup for the second installment.
