Just days after Bristol Palin signed on to the all-star season of Dancing With the Stars, her ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston announced he’s pursuing full custody of their son, Tripp.

After watching Palin’s reality show, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp, Johnston told TMZ he is “disgusted” by his son’s language and behavior and is on a “downward spiral.”

“I love my son more than anything .. and I will do whatever it takes to make sure he is raised the right way,” he said.

The custody battle won’t be the only thing playing out in the headlines as Palin hits the dance floor on DWTS. Dancing pro Karina Smirnoff laid into Palin about her future on the show.

What exactly did she say?

“I’d be very, very surprised if [Bristol Palin] won,” she told PEOPLE. “Bristol was not known as the best dancer of [her] season. … There was so much controversy when she was on.”

The all-star cast includes returning champions like former NFL player Emmitt Smith and Olympians Apolo Anton Ohno and Shawn Johnson, as well as fan favorites like Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini.

The show’s new season premieres Sept. 24 on ABC. Who do you think will win? Tell us in the comments, below.
