Kris Jenner Explains Khloe Kardashian's Decision to Step Away From Shooting 'Khloe & Lamar' (VIDEO)

Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch Kris Jenner returns to CBS’ The Talk on Tuesday. And the co-hosts wanted all the dish on her famous family.

Of the many topics Jenner tackles, one was Khloe Kardashian’s decision to put her and husband Lamar Odom’s E! show, Khloe & Lamar, on hiatus before shooting a third season.

What did Kris say about the decision?

“I thought it was amazing and remarkable that she has the personality that she knew herself well enough to know that it’s time to take a little bit of a hiatus,” Jenner says. “The show’s not gone. They needed to take a break, so Lamar can focus on basketball.”

At the time of Khloe’s decision, the couple had gone through several months of upheaval in Lamar’s basketball career. In December of last year, Lamar was traded by the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. That included a move for him and Khloe to Texas, which played out on the second season of their show.

Then in April, Odom and Mavericks management announced that he would be leaving the team. The couple is now back in Los Angeles and Odom has signed on to the L.A. Clippers.

“Lamar just craved basketball and he’s really an incredible athlete,” Jenner, 56, says of her son-in-law. “And he needed to get back to what he was doing and get his game back on track and really work out and do it right.”
