‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Casting: Meta Golding to Play Enobaria (PHOTOS)
She will play the female tribute from District 2, who is known for the particularly brutal, disturbing way in which she came to win The Hunger Games.
The 31-year-old stunner is known to television audiences from roles on CSI, Criminal Minds, House, and Cold Case and will also be seen in the upcoming independent film The Chicago 8.
Who else is set to star in the film?
Actors Jenna Malone, Amanda Plummer, Philip Seymour Hoffman have all been announced to join the cast of Catching Fire.
Though not confirmed by Lionsgate, Snow White and the Huntsman star Sam Claflin is reportedly taking on the coveted role of Finnick Odair, Katniss’ ally and fellow tribute in the 75th Hunger Games.
The new deal is a significant pay raise for Lawrence, 21, who only received $500,000 with box office performance bonuses for the first film.
As Celebuzz previously reported, production for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is scheduled to begin in September in Atlanta, GA, with Francis Lawrence replacing Gary Ross as director, who chose not to return for the sequel. The film is set to release on Nov. 22, 2013.
