'Pretty Little Liars' Star Troian Bellisario Talks Spencer and Caleb, the Return of Noel Kahn (VIDEO)
Ever since “Stolen Kisses” aired last Tuesday, fans of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars have been questioning just who should be with whom in Rosewood.
With some sparks of chemistry between Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and that little kiss between Wren (Julian Morris) and Hanna (Ashley Benson), are we headed for some major relationship shifts in the last few episodes of Season 3A?
We were just as worried as you were, so we went straight to the source and spoke with PLL star Troian Bellisario to get her take on the scenes and find out what’s to come in Rosewood.
So does Troian think we have anything to worry about with Spencer and Caleb?
The short answer is "no."Celebuzz, “It’s kind of funny to me. They like to do that on the show. I always get kind of weirded out, because I’m like these girls are such close friends, don’t even try to pull something like that on us. There’s just no way we’d let that happen.”
As for Wren and Hanna, “I think an episode is coming up when I say, 'Yah know, Wren can’t get in a room with a girl without him kind of creating a sexual relationship about it.'"
Fans can be rest assured that Spencer and Caleb won't be getting together anytime soon as show creator Marlene King also tweeted that “PLLs don’t steal each other’s boyfriends.”
Bellisario also says “I think the really cool thing about Caleb’s character and my character is we’re both detectives and we’re both very logical. So I think what a lot fans were responding to about our chemistry was really just our kind of common ground and our common skills. When we get to work together, both of those things come out for Caleb and Spencer. When we find somebody that kind of understands how quickly we put things together."
Bellisario says, "Spencer has been waiting a long time to corner Jenna and get anything out of her" and that we can expect a “really epic game of truth or dare,” which “we got to actually take to some really dark places.”
Though she kept mum when asked whether this party could be related to those that Maya (Bianca Lawson) and Holden (Shane Coffey) used to frequent, we think we may be on to something as the network’s preview of the episode, which you can see below, shows a flash of the same stamp Holden had with Aria looking at her wrist intently.
Now that Noel’s back in the picture, will he continue to be a factor for the rest of the season? “Noel is definitely really, really important to the storyline,” Bellisario said. We’ll also be meeting his older brother, Eric Khan (Robbie Amell) during the episode which is sure to have fans talking.
Speaking of brothers, Ezra’s (Ian Harding) younger bro will be making an appearance as well. We can't wait to see what drama he might stir up.
Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesday nights at 8 PM on ABC Family.
