Natalie Portman’s Rodarte Wedding Gown: Her 7 Loveliest Looks in the Designer’s Creations (PHOTOS)
When she said “I do” to Bejamin Millepied in Big Sur, Calif., last weekend, the Oscar-winning actress wore a white ’50s-inspired wedding gown designed by Rodarte, a label run by Portman’s longtime pals, sisters Laura and Kate Mulleavy.
The A-line frock ended mid-calf and featured a tulle sheer overlay that covered her chest and arms. The blushing bride completed her traditional wedding day look with a veil, floral crown, and nude shoes.
This certainly wasn’t the first time Portman has wowed in Rodarte.
Not only has she long been a close friend of the Mulleavy sisters, but she’s served as the design duo’s muse.
Rodarte famously created Portman’s stunning tutu costume in Black Swan, a performance for which she scooped the 2011 for Best Actress at the Oscars — where she dressed her baby bump with, what else, a plum Rodarte creation.
And from premieres to film festivals, Portman has worn the label’s designs on many other occasions and red carpets.
