Josh Hutcherson has a big heart and his latest charitable venture proves just that.

The Hunger Games star, 19, is auctioning off a dinner date with himself to raise money to help a young girl from his former high school who has been paralyzed after a car crash.

In a heart felt video posted on YouTube, Hutcherson reaches out to his fans and begs them to bid on the fundraising project.

So where will the big date happen?

“I’m hoping you can help me raise some money for an amazing young woman from my home town of Union Kentucky,” he said, in the video.

Hutcherson is talking about Abby Marsh, a girl from Ryle High School who was involved in a car accident in May and has been left paralyzed from the shoulders down.

The actor is working alongside The Abby Marsh Trust Fund to auction off five seats to the Greater Cincinnati-area dinner on Saturday August 18.

“Please join me in helping Abby Marsh and her family,” he added.

Bidding on Ebay is at $2650.00 for just one seat, as of Thursday morning.

Details of the event can also be found on the trust’s Facebook page.
