Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Stir Wedding Speculation With Weekend Bash at French Estate
Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie tying the knot this weekend?
The engaged couple has sparked wedding speculation by planning to host a party at their French estate this weekend.
Pitt and Jolie are opening their Chateau Miraval home to family and friends, including the actor's parents, Jane and Bill Pitt, longtime pal George Clooney, and top jeweler Robert Procop, who designed Jolie's $250,000 diamond and platinum engagement ring, according to The Sun.
Preparations are already underway for the Saturday shindig, and guests have already arrived at the villa.
What's the big bash for?
Reports suggest the fete is for Pitt's parents' 50th wedding anniversary, which is August 11.
But locals have a hunch the pair — who got engaged in April — are really saying their I do's.
"Brad flew in to oversee preparations, but they're all here now," a source told The Sun. "They say it's for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina's private jeweler is here."
The paper also reported that Pitt bought his wife-to-be a pricey Patek Phillipe watch as a "pre-wedding" gift.
Pitt, 48, and Jolie, 37, met on the set of hit film Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005 and have six kids together.
