The Catching Fire cast is quickly filling up.

Actor E. Roger Mitchell will star as Chaff, a District 11 tribute that previously won the 45 annual Hunger Games. Chaff competes alongside the other previous victors in the 75th Hunger Games, or Quarter Quell, in Catching Fire.

The Atlanta-based actor, 41, has appeared in films like S.W.A.T., Battle: Los Angeles and The Crazies.

With filming of the sequel set to kick off in September, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire casting announcements have been flying in feverishly.

On Thursday, Smallville actor Alan Ritchson was named as Gloss, a former Career tribute from District 1 who competes alongside his sister, Cashmere.

And earlier this week, District 2 career tributes were tapped. Bruno Gunn will star as muscle man Brutus, a former victor who returns to the arena; and Meta Golding will play fierce golden-fanged Enobaria, known for the brutal way she came to win the Hunger Games.

The newcomers join returning principals Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Lenny Kravtiz (Cinna) and Stanley Tucci (Caesar Flickerman).

The Francis Lawrence-helmed Hunger Games sequel, a Lionsgate production based on the second book in the Suzanne Collins trilogy, is expected to start shooting next month and is due to open on November 22, 2013. The story sees Katniss and Peeta returning home victorious after winning the gladiatorial games, only to be called back into action.
