Jennifer Aniston’s Ex Brian Bouma Speaks Out on Her Engagement to Justin Theroux (EXCLUSIVE)
The film crew member — who met 43-year-old Aniston on the movie Love Happens in Vancouver, Canada in 2008 — was unaware of the surprise news that his ex-lover had accepted screenwriter boyfriend Theroux’s proposal on August 10, when contacted for comment.
“I can only guess she’s getting married again,” Bouma told Celebuzz, adding: “If that’s the case, wish her my best.”
In 2008, Bouma was infamously pictured leaving the home of Aniston’s Friends co-star Courteney Cox during a romantic vacation to Los Angeles, Calif.
Last year, in an interview with a weekly tabloid magazine, Bouma insisted that the perception that Aniston was lonely and single was off the mark. But he added that he was considered “Mr. Pure” for the Emmy award-winning actress, suggesting that she preferred bad boys.
“Jen is not the person people think she is. All that stuff about her being lonely is just ridiculous,” he told Star magazine.
“I was only on set for seven hours. But the old quote says it best: ‘She had me at hello’.
“I had a crush on her. It was impossible not to. Jennifer knocked my socks off.”
Feelings appear to have changed, however. When asked if he wanted to elaborate on his best wishes for his one-time girlfriend, Bouma told Celebuzz: “Last thing I care about is actors’ social life. All the best to them.”
This will be the second marriage for Aniston, who was previously married to actor Brad Pitt for five years before splitting in 2005.
