Miley Cyrus Returning to TV for 'Two and a Half Men' (REPORT)
Miley Cyrus is definitely picking up some heat lately. Aside from reports she's in contention for The X Factor co-host, she reportedly just landed a new gig on CBS.
While the network couldn't confirm the news to Celebuzz, reports say Cyrus, 19, has signed on for a multiple episode guest arc as a possible romantic interest for 18-year-old star Angus T. Jones' character, Jake Harper.
What else do we know about Miley's reported new role?
The reports first began with lifeoftherichandfamous.com, whose sources tell the site that Cyrus' management pitched the actress and singer for the role and wrangled to get it for her without auditioning.
On Monday, EOnline's sources confirmed the report and said that the character would be "sexy" and "rife with comedy."
This would be Cyrus' first scripted return to TV after Disney Channel's Hannah Montana ended last year. Since then, she appeared in the film LOL and finished shooting on So Undercover with Entourage star Jeremy Piven and Revenge heartthrob Joshua Bowman. She has also worked on her music and toured.
Two and a Half Men returns Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8:30 PM.
