Jennifer Aniston's Engagement to Justin Theroux: Certainly Not Unlucky in Love Anymore (VIDEO)
Ever since her marriage to Brad Pitt fell to pieces in 2005, Jennifer Aniston has been considered unlucky-in-love.
But she's finally found her Mr. Right in Justin Theroux, Aniston's costar in the film Wanderlust.
Now that her happily ever after is on the horizon, Celebuzz looks back at the men who came before Aniston's Prince Charming.
Aniston began dating her Friends co-star Tate Donovan in 1995. But with Aniston's star on the rise, Donovan found himself living in her shadow, leading to the couple's demise in 1998.
That heartbreak was followed by her hands-down most famous romance: Brad Pitt. After marrying in 2000, Aniston and Pitt were Hollywood's golden couple. That is, until the leading man left Aniston for his Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar, Angelina Jolie.
Aniston did her best to bounce back, finding comfort in the arms of funny man Vince Vaughn in the summer of 2005 on the set of their film The Break Up. But by fall 2006, the red-hot romance had cool off.
After some time as a single girl, Aniston fell for notorious ladies' man John Mayer in 2008. The on-and-off couple finally said their goodbyes in 2009.
Then on set of The Bounty Hunter, sparks reportedly flew between and costar Gerard Butler. But the pair always adamantly denied they were anything more than friends.
But then came the real thing: Justin Theroux. Aniston met her future fiance on the Georgia set of Wanderlust in 2010, though Theroux was in a long-term relationship with stylist Heidi Bivens at the time.
Flash forward to May 2011. Following much speculation, Aniston and Theroux finally step out together. From there, the romance escalated quickly: Theroux moved into the Aniston's pad, they met each other's families, and they adopted a boxer-pitbull mix named Sophie.
Then on August 10, Theroux popped the question during his 41st birthday celebration. "Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," Theroux's rep told People magazine.
Now, it's just a countdown to the wedding bells.
