Taylor Swift Buys Beachfront Home Near Kennedy Compound: Peek Inside the New Digs
Taylor Swift is moving on up — to Cape Cod.
As her romance with new beau Conor Kennedy heats up, the singer has snatched up a 4,400-square-foot oceanfront mansion in Hyannis Port, Mass., just next door the Kennedy family’s famed vacation compound.
Swift — who Forbes crowned as the highest paid star under 30 — splashed out $4.9 million for the 7-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom pad, which was first listed with a whopping $13.5 million price tag, according to Zillow.
Find out all about Swift’s new digs.
Just a short stroll from her new guy’s summer getaway, Swift’s 1.1 acre home overlooks Nantucket Sound and has a guesthouse as well as a private beach.
Decked out in chic pastel-colored Cape Cod decor, the shingled home boasts hardwood floors and several traditional fireplaces.
Though she owns homes in Nashville and Beverly Hills, this is the chart-topping country crooner’s first purchase on the East Coast.
Swift’s big buy comes after months of dating Conor, the grandson of the Robert F. Kennedy. Swift, 22, and Conor, 18, have been spotted spending time at the all-American political family’s Hyannisport, Mass., compound many times since July 4.
In the beach town, their young romance has blossomed over nights out with pals, strolls on the beach, sailing and even attending services at a local church.
And just last week, Swift — who’s already gotten the Kennedy family’s approval — took Conor to Nashville to introduce him to her parents, Scott and Andrea.
