‘Sparkle’ Premiere: Bobbi Kristina Brown and Jordin Sparks Light Up the Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

The stars of Sparkle brought a dazzling dose of glamour to the premiere of their film Thursday night at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

Jordin Sparks, who plays the movie’s title character, was, dare we say it, sparkling in a floor-length white gown. The singer/actress had her parents in tow to celebrate her big-screen debut.

Also on hand: Bobbi Kristina Brown, whose late mother Whitney Houston stars in the film. Brown brought her boyfriend, Nick Gordon.

Who else showed up to fete the film?

Carmen Ejogo and Tika Sumpter, who play Sparkle’s sisters, posed with 22-year-old Sparks on the red carpet. The three play a Motown girl group whose success is threatened when their family begins to fall apart.

Cee-Lo Green, who portrays Black in the film, was also in attendance. In addition, celebs such as Christina Milian, Vivica Fox, and Garcelle Beauvais strutted down the red carpet.

Houston, meanwhile, was certainly there in spirit. Her co-stars, in fact, recently told Celebuzz about their memories of the legendary singer, with Sparks revealing the details of her final encounter with Houston.

“She put my head in her hands and looked at me and said, ‘You’re everything that we wanted,'” the American Idol champ said. “To have your idol tell you that — that was the type of woman she was. She was so nurturing and wanted to see everybody else succeed. She just wanted to see us do well.”

Sparkle opens nationwide on Friday.
