'Project Runway' Host Heidi Klum Admits to 'Crazy' Kids Clothes Shopping Sprees: 'I Have So Much Fun Shopping for Them' (VIDEO)
Heidi Klum may have been the face of couture fashion for the last decade, but she admittedly is obsessed with kids clothes.
"I'm one of those moms who goes crazy in a kids store," she confessed to Celebuzz at the launch of her new children's clothing line, Truly Scrumptious by Heidi Klum. "I buy things that they sometimes don't want to have."
"I have so much fun shopping for them," added the 39-year-old.
Klum, who's the proud parent of four children, recently partnered with Babies “R” Us to create a collection of clothes for boys and girls, accessories, bedding, room decor, furniture, and baby gear.
How does the Project Runway host feel about taking on fashion design?
"I love it," she said. "I enjoy it."
As a model and the host of Bravo's hit fashion competition, Klum certainly knew where to look for inspiration.
"I've been shopping for baby clothes and toys for the last eight years," Klum told us. "Obviously, coming from the fashion world and looking still to the runways, I wanted to incorporate cool things into, you know, little people's clothes."
However, Klum also looked to her children -- Leni, 8, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 4 -- for ideas as well.
"My children will have input in the designs in the future," she said. "I've just been looking more and more at my son Johan, who's a really great painter, and he draws all these really fun caricatures and so I'm going to have some of his drawings printed on some of the boys' t-shirts."
Given Klum's eventful year -- including her highly-publicized split from longtime husband Seal in January -- how does a Hollywood mom like herself juggle business and family?
"You wake up in the morning and hopefully the sun is still shining," she said, smiling,"And you just keep on going!"
